On Tuesday April 23rd at 11:00 EST, Server Save, we are going to deactivate the Old Dura Client, making it so the only client that will be useable is the New Dura Client. Many, if not more than half of Dura players have already made this transition. The New Client is as stable as the Old Client now and so there is no reason to delay not moving Dura forward, and this New Client offers vastly more functionality than the Old Client; upon transitioning to the new client you will quickly become familiar with how many features there are. Making this transition will also accelerate to develop the New Client more rapidly.

Futher we want to state there are currently bugs with the New Client, many of which players are well aware of, that are only solvable once the Old Client has been deactivated. Upon the day, April 23rd, that the Old Client is deactivated these bugs will already be solved in a patch that is happening simaltaneously with the deactivation of the Old Client. Certainly new bugs will present over time but they will be easily and quickly fixable compared to now, the reason being is that while the Old Client remains active it complicates our ability to work on the New Client.

We encourage you to download and make the transition to the New Client ahead of April 23rd, even with the notion that some bugs will be present before April 23rd; otherwise you may be blindsided by not being able to play Dura on the 23rd with the Old Client. Having said that there is no problem with waiting till the 23rd to make the switch.
